How Canadian Church Plants

Engage in the Motus Dei (Movement of God)

Facilitated by James Watson, PhD

Thursday, September 10, 2026

1:00-2:00 pm (Eastern Time)

Motus Dei is a missiological perspective that embraces what has been learned from the global church about movements. Raphaël Anzenberger (Montreal), Sarah Han (Milton), Ejay Tupe (Toronto), and James Watson (Kitchener-Waterloo) are all engaged in church plants that have a multiplication vision. This panel discussion of members of the Church Planting Canada research team will explain different approaches to partnering with the Holy Spirit’s church planting movement. This webinar is an opportunity to discuss with missiologists who are immersed in Canadian communities how that vision can take shape.
