CPC Coach Certification - Senior |
CPC Senior Coach Certification was created out of a desire to see coaches developed and verified with the aim of supporting and helping Canadian Church leaders in their pursuit of excellence. As an organization we are committed to developing missional churches and leaders all across Canada. In keeping with the spirit of CPC this Certification process is simply a way to establish quality and facilitate excellence amongst the CPC partners.
When a coach is certified it means they have:
- agreed to our ethical standards,
- received verified training,
- had their coaching evaluated and
- have coached for a certain number of hours and
- been personally coached.
All of this is a servant of a larger goal which is to be a catalyst for the Canadian Church and its leadership towards being multiplicative and missional as well as sustainable and supported in their ministry.
CPC Coach Certification can be realized through two routes: CPC Coach training or through other training organizations (Non-CPC training). The certification is the same regardless of the route. In the case of the CPC training it is designed to satisfy the certification requirements. Should you have training from other sources then more information will be needed to make sure that the certification requirements are satisfied.

The application fee for certification is $75.00 (One time Fee)
Annual renewal fee for certification is $35.00

ICF Certified or CPC Trained or Non-CPC Trained
To fill in the online application you will need to have certain information, below is a list of the materials you will need. Once you start the application process you wil not be able to save the information.
Before you apply:
ICF Certified Requirements (For those with ACC, PCC, MCC certification):
- Copy of certification.
- Read the CPC Coaching Values and Ethics Statement and agree to abide by it.
 CPC Ethical Statement
CPC Trained Requirements:
- Letter of reference from your trainer. (if not already on file from Basic Certification)
- Name, date, location and hours of the required CE credits. (4 hrs)
- Hours of Coaching - provide the name of the coachee, their email address, coaching dates, and the total number of coaching hours. (Minimum of 6 clients and 100 hours required)
- Hours of Personal Coaching - provide the name of your coach, their email address, coaching dates, and the total number of hours coached. (Minimum of 4 hours required)
- Additional audited call - attached* or name and date of reviewed call.
- Read the CPC Coaching Values and Ethics Statement and agree to abide by it.
CPC Ethical Statement
Non-CPC Trained Requirements:
- Provide a list of your coaching certifications and designations.
- Provide the name of your trainer, hours completed, contact person, and email address.
- Letter of reference from your trainer. (35 hours of training required)
- Hours of Coaching - provide the name of the coachee, their email address, coaching dates, and the total number of coaching hours. (Minimum of 6 clients and 100 hours required)
- Hours of Personal Coaching - please provide the name of your coach, their email address, coaching dates, and the total number of hours coached. (Minimum of 4 hours required)
- Audited Calls/Reviewed Coaching Experiences - provide the name of the coaching auditor, their email address, number of audits/reviews, and the dates of each one. (3 required)
- Read the CPC Coaching Values and Ethics Statement and agree to abide by it.
